LENY YORO is awaiting to finalise a deal with Manchester United after Lille accepted a £52million offer for the defender.
The 18-year-old will make his way to Old Trafford as part of Erik ten Hag’s masterplan to rebuild the Red Devils defence.
While United have already said farewell to Raphael Varane and Willy Kambwala.
Yoro is on his way to Carrington for a medical before striking personal terms on a lucrative contract.
But fans may wonder how the France U23 star compares to the other Red Devil defenders Jonny Evans, Victor Lindelof and Harry Maguire.
Last season for the Ligue 1 side Yoro made 32 appearances for Lille and played a total of 2,672 minutes.
This is almost double the amount of minutes Evans, Lindelof and Varane each played.
Yoro’s closest competitor is Harry Maguire who featured for 1,650 minutes, making 24 tackles, and 25 interceptions with an 83 per cent pass accuracy.
In perspective, the teen made 36 tackles, and 36 interceptions with a 92 per cent pass accuracy.
Lindelof, who suffered with a groin and hamstring injury for the majority of last season, still managed a 90 per cent pass success rate in his 19 appearances.

United made an “above market offer” for Yoro as they managed to fend off Real Madrid who had been targeting the youngster for some time.
Alongside Virgil van Dijk, he was the only defender across all European leagues to be both a top 10 per cent player in defensive duel success rate and top 10 per cent in aerial duel success rate.
Man Utd’s top targets for the transfer window
Meanwhile, a defender who has not made it onto the list is Lisandro Martinez.
The Argentine star spent most of the term on the sideline after reinjuring his foot at the start of term and then going down with an MCL blow in February.
