Misery continues for the Warriors! They headed into tonight’s Wizards clash aiming to double down on Wednesday’s win against the Timberwolves. And they even got a big boost before the game as Draymond Green finally made his return following a three-game hiatus. But just when things were starting to look in their favor, they suffered another huge setback because the former DPOY was forced to leave the floor just minutes after tip-off.
The incident occurred just three minutes into the game. Following his return to the starting lineup, Green immediately began struggling. Seeing that, Steve Kerr called a timeout and subbed him out, and he hobbled off the floor. A camera even caught him leaving the bench and limping off to the locker room during the timeout.
Turns out, he would not return for the remainder of the game. The reason? Left calf tightness.
