The 21-year-old winner can now play football again thanks to the La Liga team.

The message said, “Hi Getafe fans, this is Mason.”

Getafe also tweeted a picture of Greenwood holding up the team’s blue home shirt.

The writing said “Mason Greenwood ya esta aqui,” which means “Mason Greenwood is here.”

Spain’s club talked about the deal on Friday, just before the summer transfer market closed.

United will pay him most of his £75,000-a-week salary if he stays in Spain for a while. The loan doesn’t cost anything.

The club also said in a press statement, “The move gives Greenwood a chance to start over with his career away from Manchester United.”

It’s not going to change that the club will still help Mason and his family.
