The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers reveal that Cameron Kirsten (Linden Ashby) is haunting Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) in her own mind and will push her to make some dreadful decisions. Although Cameron isn’t real, he’ll still be a powerful presence in Sharon’s life for the foreseeable future.

This feels like the kind of storyline that has to be building somewhere dangerous.

When Cameron is in the picture – even in hallucination form – bad things are always going to happen!

Since Lucy Romalotti (Lily Brooks O’Briant) was drinking around Faith Newman (Reylynn Caster), it’s easy to imagine “Cameron” pushing Sharon to wipe Lucy off the map.

“Cameron” may act like it’s necessary to keep Faith safe and use the past to put some fear in Sharon since she already lost Cassie Newman (Camryn Grimes).

Of course, no one really wants to see another teenage girl get killed off, so let’s hope Lucy lives to tell the tale.

That said, it might be time for Y&R to let someone else face a grim fate – perhaps someone who’s close to the situation.

Sharon mostly blames herself for not being able to protect Cassie, but she still blames Daniel Romalotti Jr. (Michael Grazidei) on some level as well.

However, this story could spin things around and give Daniel a reason to blame Sharon – at least if she succeeds in causing harm to someone he loves.

What if Heather Stevens (Vail Bloom) steps up to protect Lucy in some way and pays with her life?

If someone is going to face a grisly outcome due to all this “Cameron” and Sharon drama, Heather would be a good choice.

Although Heather is important enough to matter, Y&R really hasn’t used her much since she was reintroduced to the canvas.

Heather lifts right out of the show, so it might be worth sending her out with a bang and playing up the dramatic aftermath for Daniel along with Lucy.

It would certainly be horrible news for Lucy and Daniel to cope with.

Naturally, it’s possible the show will avoid sending anyone to the grave, but it’d raise the stakes of this storyline if Sharon went wild while unmedicated and caused Heather’s demise.
