The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers reveal that Sharon Newman’s (Sharon Case) fury toward Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) seems to be growing stronger. Sharon recently blew up at Phyllis for talking to Faith Newman (Reylynn Caster) and made it clear that she needed to butt out.

In the July 23 episode, Sharon also blamed “Hurricane Phyllis” for many of the challenges she’d faced with Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) over the years.

Y&R then offered up Sharon’s imaginary kiss with Nick, so it’s easy to see that trouble is brewing.

Sharon may become totally delusional and eventually believe she’s in a committed relationship with Nick again.

That could make Sharon view Phyllis as even more of a threat, so what will she do about her romantic rival?

Since Sharon is becoming more aggressive – especially toward Phyllis – she could easily end up going after her in some way.

At some point, Sharon might launch a physical confrontation and knock Phyllis out.

If that happens, Sharon might go as far as dragging Phyllis to a hiding place and holding her hostage.

Perhaps Sharon will tell herself that she can have Nick all to herself if she locks Phyllis up.

If Phyllis goes missing, that could raise some serious red flags for her loved ones.

After all the drama that happened when Phyllis faked her own demise, Summer Newman (Allison Lanier) and Daniel Romalotti Jr. (Michael Graziadei) know she’d never disappear on them willingly again.

In other words, Daniel and Summer are going to fear the worst if Phyllis suddenly doesn’t call or text them back.

It won’t take long for Summer and Daniel to grow concerned if Phyllis is nowhere to be found.

Of course, Nick could start to worry that Sharon might’ve done something to Phyllis.

We might see Nick investigate and try to figure out if Sharon might be responsible for Phyllis’ vanishing act.

Regardless, Sharon is showing signs of wanting a Nick reunion and may think Phyllis is an obstacle that needs to be eliminated.

Considering Sharons’ mental state these days, we could be gearing up for a Phyllis kidnapping crisis!
