When Diane Jenkins returned to Genoa City, her return raised many eyebrows, reveal The Young and The Restless Spoilers. All her nemesis flocked together and against her to try and run her out of town. Phyllis Summers even went to the extent of faking her own death in an attempt to frame Diane and rid the city of her.
Alas! Phyllis’ plan flopped miserably and she once again became the local piranha. Meanwhile, Diane found the love of her life- Jack Abbott. He stood beside her like a rock and nothing Phyllis or Jeremy Stark did could sway his belief that Diane had reformed. But has Diane really reformed? She sure does show her snarky and fierce side every now and then!
How long will it be before she completely backslides to her old villainous self? There is a popular saying that a leopard never really changes its spots. This makes us wonder if Diane’s new leaf is just a temporary phenomenon. Many would argue that they actually miss the old Diane and her mean-girl vibe.
She was fun and so much more formidable than the watered-down version we have now. This Diane couldn’t even keep the bratboy Kyle in check! Thus, it could actually be fun and a game-changer to have the old Diane back. However, we must admit that Jack may not like that very much. He has fallen deeply in love with the reformed Diane. So, if she was to backslide, Jack would really be heartbroken.
