The trailer for Meg 2: The Trench starring Jason Statham in the lead role was recently released. Based on Steve Alten’s novel The Trench, the movie is the sequel to the blockbuster hit The Meg released in 2018.
This time around, the dangerous megalodons will be hunting in packs which means more death and destruction. No one on the beach is safe. But thankfully Statham’s character, Jonas Taylor, has plenty of know-how when it comes to dealing with colossal megs, thanks to his experience in The Meg (2018). His expertise will certainly come in handy in this upcoming movie.

Jason Statham does a great job playing the character of Jonas Taylor. A rescue diver who is highly skilled at his job, Jonas has a tough personality but he does have a soft side to him as well. With intense shark attacks, witty dialogues, captivating action scenes, and plenty of suspense, this movie is a thoroughly enjoyable watch.
2) Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels (1998)
Written and directed by Guy Ritchie, the film stars Jason Flemyng, Dexter Fletcher, Nick Moran, Steven Mackintosh, Sting, Vinnie Jones, and Jason Statham.
The story revolves around Eddy who convinces three of his friends to pool funds for a poker game against the local crime boss. As it was a rigged game, Eddy loses and has to pay back 500,000 pounds. He along with his friends make a plan to pay back the debt.
This is a very special Jason Statham movie as it marks his feature film debut. He played the role of Bacon, one of Eddy’s friends. Entertaining and funny, this movie was very well received by the audience. The film’s success also helped put Guy Ritchie on the map.

The first installment in the Transporter franchise, it stars Jason Statham, Shu Qi, François Berléand, Matt Schulze, and Ric Young. The story revolves around Frank Martin, a former special operations soldier who is working as a mercenary transporter. He follows three rigid rules when transporting goods but when he breaks the rules, trouble comes calling.
Statham does a great job playing the suave and skilled protagonist who is cool as a cucumber. The action sequences are a treat to watch, especially the car chase scenes that have been beautifully shot and executed.

If you are a fan of heist movies then this is one movie that you cannot miss. He plays the role of Terry Leather, a reformed criminal, who gets lured into a heist by his ex-girlfriend. It is interesting to see the team, a group of misfits, who come together for the robbery and the challenges they face as they are not the only ones after the vault’s contents.
