MU transfer: Despite being highly regarded by coach Erik ten Hag, Alejandro Garnacho is likely to leave Old Trafford as Man United are not interested in keeping the Argentine player.
The Sun recently revealed that both Barcelona and Juventus are ready to roll out the red carpet to sign Alejandro Garnacho. Notably, Man Utd are also said to be not interested in keeping the Argentine player. Reports added that the Old Trafford team would agree to sell Garnacho if they received 50 million pounds.
Alejandro Garnacho grew up at Atletico Madrid’s training center and was recruited by Man Utd for a mere 465 thousand euros. In the 2022/23 season, the player born in 2004 had remarkable development when coach Erik ten Hag gave him many opportunities to play.
Garnacho has scored 19 goals and provided 13 assists in all competitions for United so far. Despite Marcus Rashford’s poor form, the Old Trafford side still want to let Alejandro Garnacho go. The reason is largely due to the brilliance of Amad Diallo.
The transfer story still depends on Alejandro Garnacho personally. If he is not willing to be a supporting actor at Old Trafford, the Argentine international can choose a new destination in La Liga or Serie A.
Last summer, Man United carried out a strong squad purge. Players who did not contribute much such as Anthony Martial, Brandon Williams, Donny van de Beek, Hannibal Mejbri were all released or sold to other clubs.
