Fans were thrilled to hear that the two rappers were collaborating on a song once again, given that their last duet, WAP, dropped three years ago.
In addition to Bongos, the Bodak Yellow rapper also recently revealed to Vogue Mexico (via People) that she has been hard at work for her next album.
‘Right now, I’m working on the cover art and ideas for the next record because it’s definitely coming up,’ the curvaceous singer declared.
She added that, ‘stay tuned because it’s coming out very soon,’ regarding the release date for her second full-length studio album.
Although she’s been a public figure for years, the Washington Heights born entertainer actually hasn’t release a full studio album since her debut record in 2018 – Invasion Of Privacy.
She also recently worked on a track with her husband Offset, aptly titled Jealousy.
Music career aside, the mother of one also celebrated her son Wave Set’s second birthday on September 4th.
The Hustlers star shared a cute video on Instagram before Wave’s birthday asking her young son how old he was going to be turning.
Cardi’s only son with Offset reacted in an adorable manner, raising one finger and answering, ‘Two’ with excitement.

She’ll also celebrate another milestone next month, with her 31st birthday approaching on October 11th.
