Today, Man United beat Coventry City in the penalty shootout in the FA Cup semi-final.
After Rasmus Hojlund scored the winning penalty, Antony did something absolutely unexpected: the Brazilian turned to Coventry players and started celebrating right in front of them, cupping his ears. So disrespectful.
Fortunately, there was at least one Man United player who showed class after the penalty – instead of celebrating, Harry Maguire immediately came up to Coventry players to shake hands and talk with them.
As you would expect, Man United fans are praising Harry for this classy move – and are really furious with what Antony did.
One person said: ‘Maguire has the right reaction here. Thats the type of character we need not Antony what a freak’
The second fan expressed: ‘Look at the difference between Maguire and Antony when he scores, christ’
The third continues: ‘Antony is absolutely shameless.’
Another added: ‘Big Maguire showed a bit of class… first one to shake hands with the Coventry team.’
