According to eBay, the price of the microphone allegedly thrown by singer Cardi B into the audience is more than 30,100 USD.
Scott Fisher – owner of The Wave, the sound company that provided microphones for Cardi B’s concert – confirmed that 100% of the proceeds from microphone sales will be given to two charities: Friendship Circle Las Vegas and the Veterans Assistance Project.
Fisher said he wanted to “try to do something good”, after being encouraged to sell the microphone thrown by Cardi B in the recent “famous” incident.
Fisher also shared in a Facebook post: “I own the microphone that Cardi B threw into the audience, who threw liquid at her, a few days ago. After everyone encouraged me, I decided to sell Auction it with 100% of the money divided equally between the two charities.”
The price of the microphone has reached a “huge” figure of 30,100 USD, the listing will end on August 8.
People reached out to Fisher for comment but did not receive a response.
According to the eBay listing, the microphone is a “Shure Axient wireless digital mic”. The seller identified the microphone as having been thrown by Cardi B because there was a white strip of tape at the bottom with the words “Main” written on it.
