When deciphered, the hieroglyphs allegedly conveyed a warning from extraterrestrial beings: “You will improve or disappear.” It was claimed to be a threat against humanity—but was it real?

The Silpho Moor object was studied by metallurgists and scientists, who quickly determined it had no unique properties and was not a spaceship. Enough depictions of this creature exist to suggest it may have been a part of everyday life thousands of years ago. Remember, most of Mesopotamia is now in ruins or lost forever. If there are still so many images of these alien-fish hybrids, there must have been thousands more before.

These bizarre creatures were known as abalu. According to ancient Babylonian legend, they served as advisors to ancient kings—not human kings.
