MU Transfer: Coach Ten Hag’s future at Man Utd is still receiving much attention. According to British media, the Old Trafford team is contacting coach Edin Terzic to take over the Red Devils.
After Man Utd’s poor performance since the beginning of the season with 3 wins after 10 matches in all competitions, coach Ten Hag is under a lot of pressure from the media and fans. Even the Dutch coach’s seat is shaking violently.
According to the Manchester Evening News, Manchester United’s board of directors may consider appointing coach Edin Terzic to replace Ten Hag if the Red Devils continue to show poor form. In the context that the number 1 candidate Thomas Tuchel is likely to lead the England team, the former Dortmund captain has emerged as a bright candidate to take over MU.
The German coach has yet to coach a team since leaving Dortmund last season. The 41-year-old is highly regarded and led Dortmund to the 2023/24 Champions League final before losing 0-2 to Real Madrid. Under the guidance of coach Edin Terzic, Dortmund has somewhat demonstrated its position in the European arena.
Another plus point for Terzic is that he helped revive star Jadon Sancho at Borussia Dortmund, something that coach Ten Hag failed to do. For Sancho, Terzic is more than a teacher. In case Terzic accepts to lead MU, Sancho’s return to Old Trafford after the end of his loan contract with Chelsea to reunite with his old teacher is completely possible.
The player, who is currently on loan at Chelsea, shared emotional words to the German coach: “Thank you for believing in me, forever grateful. Good luck in the next chapter of your career @edinterzic11.”
