Mark Henry believes Roman Reigns and Cody Rhodes can’t work together as a tag team
At Bad Blood Premium Live, Roman Reigns and Cody Rhodes will team up in a tag team match against Solo Sikoa and Jacob Fatu.
Speaking on the Busted Open podcast, Mark Henry suggested that Reigns and Rhodes could not work together as a tag team. He said:
“I think that’s fine, I don’t think they would work well together as a tag team because once one [of them] comes in, he’s going to try to end it. You know, Cody’s going to try to end it himself. Roman comes in, the last thing he’s going to do is tag Cody in to help him. So that would be the downfall of them being in a tag team.”
At WrestleMania XL, Rhodes pinned Reigns to win the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship. Since winning the title, The American Nightmare has successfully defended the championship against AJ Styles, Logan Paul and Kevin Owens, whom he defeated at the Bash In Berlin Premium Live Event.
On the latest edition of SmackDown, Rhodes defended his title against Solo Sikoa in a Steel Cage Match. This is a rematch from SummerSlam, where Rhodes won.
