Speaking on CaughtOffside, journalist Fabrizio Romano gave an update on Manchester United’s transfer plans.
Fabrizio Romano claims that Aaron Wan-Bissaka is currently the biggest obstacle preventing Manchester United from completing the two deals of Matthijs De Ligt and Noussair Mazraoui. The Italian journalist said:
” Manchester United are still in contact with Matthijs de Ligt and Noussair Mazraoui. Despite the links with Denzel Dumfries, their top target for right-back is Mazraoui because he can also play on the left wing, and he is well known to Ten Hag.”
“However, an important detail is that Man United are still waiting for Aaron Wan-Bissaka to leave the club . This is an obstacle at the moment , when Man United patiently waits for this player to give the green light to West Ham, or maybe find another solution.”
“United’s focus remains on De Ligt and Mazraoui, and both players are also waiting for United. Ten Hag hopes to have De Ligt and Mazraoui as soon as possible because the Premier League season is getting closer, so the next 10 days are really important because both players are waiting for the opportunity to move to Old Trafford.”
