General Hospital (GH) spoilers claim Willow Corinthos (Katelyn MacMullen) could barely breathe when she learned Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) — her mother — had offered herself up on a platter to be Drew Quartermaine’s (Cameron Mathison) public companion.
Letting the people of New York judge for themselves what might be going on between them is enough to drive Willow up the wall. She doesn’t want to think that anyone believes Drew is involved with someone.
She can’t even entertain the thought because all she wants is to be the woman on his arm. At the same time, she doesn’t want to break up her family or shatter Michael Corinthos’ (Chad Duell) heart.
Will opening up to Nina about the second smooch she shared with Drew and the internal struggle she’s facing to combat her feelings help matters, or will Nina use it as an excuse to further insert herself?
General Hospital Spoilers — Washington, D.C. Beckons?
Nina did “wink wink” at Willow when she explained that her helping Drew would assist him in winning the election so that he could move to Washington, D.C.
That’s the big perk, right Getting him geographically away from Willow would only help her, in theory, and Nina can continue to play that role as though she’s doing this to help Willow, right?
Willow can’t see straight right now. She’s jealous of her mother’s role in Drew’s life and wants to be the woman on his arm — all while somehow staying with her husband and keeping her family intact.
The closer that Drew inches to moving away, the more that Willow may begin to regret pushing him away. But we can’t imagine Nina will co-sign that.
GH Spoilers – Report Drew Cain Could Throw It All Away
If this blows up, there’s a good chance that Michael will bid Willow farewell. He’s not going to stay with a woman who is clearly not just lusting for his cousin, but falling in love with him. Therein lies the rub. There are real feelings involved on both sides; Drew returns them.
Thus, if Willow is suddenly single, it’s quite possible that she and Drew will want to give this a go. But can she do that when he’s miles away in D.C.? Probably not, which means Drew just might call the whole thing off and choose Port Charles, and Willow.
General Hospital Spoilers — Nina Reeves’s True Colors Shine Through?
Nina is spinning her wheels trying to come up with clever ways that she can cozy up to Drew and keep his companionship for herself. The more of his free time she’s soaking up, the fewer opportunities he’ll have to spend with Willow.
The way Nina sees it, she’s taking one for the team by preventing Willow from getting too attached to another man. Who cares if she’s also enjoying every minute of it? Well, Willow will certainly care when she realizes her mother’s efforts weren’t entirely altruistic.
Will they be able to bounce back from this as Drew and Willow veer in one another’s direction and Nina loses the guy she’s craving to steal away from her daughter? Stay tuned for more GH news and spoilers just ahead.
