General Hospital (GH) spoilers suggest that the clock is ticking on Sam McCall’s (Kelly Monaco) time in Port Charles. After all, Monaco’s mom, Carmina Monaco recently confirmed on the social media platform X, that her daughter’s final day of filming was Friday, September 27.
Sam’s set to dive into the river to look for the gun that her mom, Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grah), threw over a bridge. The hope is to clear her of murder charges and have her released from Pentonville.
Fans know that the show plans to kill off Sam, and if the dive is what causes Sam’s death, then there will be a long list of characters that will blame themselves for Sam’s death.
But, will Carly include herself on that list?
GH Spoilers: The Usual Suspects
GH spoilers suggest that Alexis will be on the top of that list, followed by Kristina Corinthos-Davis (Kate Mansi). Sam wouldn’t have dived into the river in the first place had both ladies not acted so rashly.
Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) will feel terrible. Especially if he doesn’t attend the diving session with his gal pal.
He’ll feel guilty about “okaying” her suggestion, although fans know there’s no way that Dante could convince Sam against anything once she has her mindset. Telling her “No” was not even an option for him.
Sonny Corintos (Maurice Benard) may ultimately spiral with guilt. After all, he’s the one who killed John “Jagger” Cates (Adam J. Harrington) and if he only fessed up to his crime, then Alexis wouldn’t be in prison, right?
GH Spoilers: Carly Spencer’s Guilt
Last week, Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) had a major confrontation with Sam at the hospital. Sam begged her to come clean and retract her statement on being Sonny’s alibi. After all, they both know that Sonny shot John and now her mom is in prison for a crime she did not commit.
Things got heated as their face-off grew more and more intense. Sam asked Carly to think of someone other than her own family for once.
After all, Carly didn’t bat an eyelash when she sent Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) on a rescue mission for Lucky Spencer (Jonathan Jackson) – not thinking about what would happen if Jason once again met his demise on this trip. What would Sam tell Danny Morgan (Asher Antonyzyn)?
Carly didn’t budge on her alibi and didn’t plan on stepping forward to do so. After all, Carly reasoned that Alexis made the silly decision she did, which wasn’t Carly, nor Sonny’s fault.
Sounds like Carly doesn’t believe this is her problem; however, once Sam dies – and if she dies in the river, looking for that gun – will her perspective on things change? Will she rot with guilt over Sam’s death? Could this take a toll on her mental health?
