General Hospital fans have seen an attraction between Willow and Drew develop into an affair. Notably, the relationship recently came to light during a Christmas party on the soap. Cameron Mathison, who plays Drew, has himself shared some predictions about the characters’ relationship. Willow’s actress Katelyn MacMullen has also since talked about the fallout from the affair’s reveal.

Willow & Drew’s Affair Came To Light At The Christmas Party

MacMullen has portrayed Willow Tait on General Hospital since 2018. The character has had a few different romances on the soap.

Notably, Willow married Michael Corinthos, though the two have had a complicated relationship. However, this did not stop her attraction to his uncle, Drew, which soon developed into a relationship, which soon came to light on a Quartermaine Christmas party.

MacMullen recently talked about the fallout with Soap Opera Digest. The actress was notably asked what the affair with Drew will mean for Willow and Michael.

As MacMullen noted, “I think there is hope for that. They haven’t gotten a genuine one-on-one chance to process this at all. I think there are hints throughout the story that they do still love each other and even though all this stuff has gone down.”

MacMullen continued that, “There is a part of them that is like, “Maybe we can work this out.” Anything is possible.”

Katelyn MacMullen Isn’t The Only Actor To Talk About Willow & Drew

On the other hand, the actress was also asked about what she thinks this could mean for Willow and Drew, especially as her character invited him over for the holidays. MacMullen noted, “I think inviting him to Christmas is more about him not being alone on Christmas.”

“It’s also about his daughter [Scout] and everything she’s been through and needing to be with her dad on Christmas and needing to be around people and hopefully in a situation that makes her feel loved and happy on Christmas, as happy as she can be.”

“But with the truth coming out, I think that Willow and Drew are still drawn to each other and they feel bad. They feel bad that this is the way all of this went down. It wasn’t meant to go down like this! It was meant to be messy and complicated, but not like this.”

MacMullen was also asked what she thinks Willow just wants in the moment. As she shared, “I think that right now, she would literally say, ‘I don’t know what I want, and that’s what’s driving me crazy.’” She also noted, “I think it’s all very confusing to her.”

For his part, as previously reported, Drew’s actor, Cameron Mathison, also shared some predictions on what could happen for Willow and Drew in the upcoming year. At the time, he suggested the two had a potential to be a supercouple. The actor even suggested they could have a similar story to the famous Luke and Laura.
