LeBron James, who began his NBA journey as the Cleveland Cavaliers’ first overall pick, quickly showcased his athleticism by winning Rookie of the Year. Since that impressive start, LeBron has consistently added new heights to his list of accolades, bringing him closer to being considered the GOAT. Notably, whenever there’s a debate on who holds the GOAT title, Michael Jordan’s name often pops up, leaving fans comparing the two legends of the game.
Recently, former NBA star Terrence Ross weighed in on the debate during a live stream on Twitch. Ross didn’t hesitate to declare James the clear GOAT over MJ.
“LeBron is literally, to me now, he’s the GOAT. I don’t know how you can put Jordan over him. If Jordan would have done what he was doing for 20 years, ‘I’m like yeah. Like, LeBron has a long way to go,” Ross said.
Throughout his career, LeBron has rarely disappointed his fans, even in seasons when his team has struggled. Ross further explained his perspective by highlighting the differences between LeBron’s and Jordan’s consistency. Interestingly, the Lakers star’s consistent excellence is evident in the fact that he has been named to the All-Star team for 20 consecutive years.

“The truth of the matter is he played basketball twice, returned twice. Got a three-peat on his first return, and the second time he came back, he was not the same player. LeBron has literally been at a peak his entire career,” Ross continued. I mean, he just gets older, but he still is as effective as he’s always been,” he added.
