England stars Cole Palmer and Kobbie Mainoo pose for GQ’s Men of the Year issue – following Man United and Chelsea’s breakthrough campaigns😍😍
Cole Palmer laughed that he “just wears trackies” most of the time after getting dressed up for a GQ photoshoot.
The 22-year-old Chelsea star put on some happy clothes with Kobbie Mainoo, an England star and Manchester boy.
They wore clothes from Burberry, Dior, and Louis Vuitton, among others, for the interview in a London studio. They wore a variety of bright blazers, sweaters, and pants.
But after they were done talking and taking pictures in their fancy and expensive clothes, Palmer laughed that he felt much better in his everyday clothes.
It was “I just wear trackies.”
The more expensive menswear names Mainoo is used to, like Enfants Riches Deprimes, Chrome Hearts, and Bottega, he was quick to try and give credit to his new friend.
In response, “Brother, I’ve seen you in jeans.”
Although Palmer isn’t afraid to spend a lot of money.
After his first England cap, the man who makes £130,000 a week said he did buy himself a silver and ice-blue Rolex Daytona watch.
After that, he bought a £190,000 Lamborghini, which was a big change from his Wythenshawe childhood.
But Palmer hasn’t forgotten where he came from. He recently gave away boots at the youth clubs where he used to play.
Palmer remembered, “When you’re young, you don’t have much, do you understand?”
“I remember asking my dad for boots, but he wouldn’t give them to me.” You live in public housing. It’s nice to try to give back when you get to this point.
Even though both Palmer and Mainoo grew up in Manchester, they didn’t become friends until Euro 2024.
In the camp in Germany, they became close by playing padel and table tennis.
Palmer came in for Mainoo with 20 minutes left in the final against Spain and scored the equalizing goal that made every England fan dream of what could have been. However, both men were then called in for drug tests.
Most people remember the goal, but the Chelsea forward said he doesn’t really remember what happened.
Palmer has become a key player for both Mauricio Pochettino and now Enzo Maresca since his £40 million move from Manchester City to Stamford Bridge.
But, even though he played all 90 minutes in Sunday’s 1-1 draw with Arsenal, he and eight others pulled out of England’s Nations League team, which made captain Harry Kane very angry.
Palmer, on the other hand, can’t wait for a break—in this case, the return of winter break.
He told GQ Magazine, “Yeah,” when asked about the break in January. I like it when things break a lot.
“People will start getting injured more.”
“That’s a crazy number of games,” agreed Mainoo.
The award-winning player for Manchester United just moved out of his parent’s house and into his own place.
Palmer’s parents have a bright memory of what their son did during his small part in City’s championship-winning season before he moved to London.
The forward kept the PFA Young Player of the Year and Chelsea Player of the Year awards at home and wants to add to them. However, his mum Marie is back with the City wins.
Palmer replied, “I are giving them to my mom.”
“I needed to stock up. Eliminate them so I can restock.
It’s so great to win that you want it all over again.
“Don’t stop or you’ll never feel that way again.”
