As is now a tradition at the start of each new football season, Real Madrid’s first team players have received their new cars for the 2023-2024 season.
This is the second year of the club’s partnership with BMW and now the range of options for the players is even wider.

Cars with ZERO emissions label for Real Madrid
Unlike last year, where the only options were 100 percent electric, now the players have been able to choose partially-electric models.
This is the case of plug-in hybrids, which can run for almost 100 km on electricity but also have a petrol tank. In any case, however, all the cars available to the Real Madrid first team have the ZERO emissions label.
Up to four different models have been chosen by the players of the first team and the coach, Carlo Ancelotti, among coupés (BMW i4), sedans (BMW i7) and the SUV iX and XM from the BMW catalog.
The most ‘affordable’ of all is the electric i4 eDrive35 i4, which currently costs 57,000 euros, while the most expensive is one of the new options: the plug-in hybrid XM which costs almost 180,000 euros.
Jude Bellingham chooses the BMW XM
The big star of the League, Englishman Jude Bellingham, chose the XM as his first BMW in white, which was also the favorite of the majority of the team. As many as eight players opted for the only model that is not 100 percent electric.
The next in the list of preferences was the i4, chosen by seven players and the Italian coach, closely followed by the iX, the other SUV and this one with battery -which, moreover, the players already know from last year-, also with seven requests. Nacho was the only ‘discordant note’, opting for the electric i7.
As a curiosity, only the captains Nacho, Modric (the Croatian was the only one who opted for the iX M60 of 619 hp and 133,000 euros) and Tchouameni, who is the recipient of the ‘modest’ i4 eDrive35 of 286 hp, have ‘unmarked’ from the rest.
Ancelotti, in keeping with his style, has chosen a custom color from the BMW Individual catalog, as have Modric and Camavinga.
The new Real Madrid BMWs: the iX, XM, i4 and i7
If last year the two models that the Madridistas could enjoy were the i4 coupe and the iX SUV, for the 2023-2024 season there is a change of models as there are two new additions.
It is the i7 limousine (here you can read a test), which has only chosen Nacho and that with 544 horses is one of the most luxurious and advanced electric cars of the moment.
In addition to this model -which is the one also assigned to Florentino Pérez- the other novelty is the XM that goes directly to the garages of Courtois, Kepa, Carvajal, Ceballos, Güler, Joselu and Rodrygo -in addition to the aforementioned Bellingham.
The players will have no problem recharging their new vehicles as BMW has adapted the Valdebebas training complex by installing points with a total of 900 kW of available power… in addition to the fact that the players also have chargers at their homes.
