Following Sean “Diddy” Combs’ arrest, Hollywood has gone into a state of shock, with many people closely following the ongoing investigation into the music mogul’s empire and life. While several celebrities have spoken out about his arrest, many of those close to him have remained silent, and political commentator Candace Owens isn’t happy about that.
In a lengthy YouTube livestream, Owens made several harsh and harsh statements regarding the events following Diddy’s arrest. While she praised Justin Bieber as a child victim, the media personality attacked NBA star LeBron James for his silence after praising the imprisoned musician’s parties.
Although trouble in Diddy’s world had been brewing for some time, things came to a head when the mogul was arrested and charged with human trafficking, organized crime, conspiracy, and transportation for the purpose of prostitution. Now in jail until his trial begins, federal authorities are conducting a thorough investigation (via Rolling Stone).
Amidst all this, those close to the music mogul are conveniently silent, or as one source close to Fox News puts it, “scared to death” about attending Diddy’s illicit sex parties called Freak Offs. While we don’t know which of Diddy’s many parties were Freak Offs, we do know that celebrities like LeBron James attended his parties (see PageSix).
James has managed to maintain a clean image for most of his career, but it seems he’s now hit a snag and found himself at the center of one of Hollywood’s biggest scandals. Having attended Diddy’s parties in the past (see TMZ), he even once praised the *I Need a Girl* creator for throwing the best parties. “Everybody knows there’s no party like Diddy’s,” the NBA star said during an Instagram Live (via X). As recordings of James’ past statements went viral, many saw his comment in a new light, given the details of what went down at these parties. While some found it hard to believe, others dug up videos of him with Diddy at his parties (see X).

Candace Owens has never shied away from verbally attacking celebrities or calling them to account. Recently, a purported memoir by Kim Porter was found on retail sites, comprised of supposed journals from the late model and Diddy’s ex. Now a bestseller on Amazon (see Billboard ), Owens discussed the book and Diddy’s arrest during a YouTube livestream.
In the video, the media personality spoke out about Justin Bieber and called him a “child victim,” associating his past troubled behavior with Diddy. While forgiving Bieber, she made scathing comments about NBA legend LeBron James and his silence following the music mogul’s arrest.
**“Everything seems to be falling apart in Hollywood,” Owens said. “There are a lot of people who should be called out, people who weren’t young like Justin Bieber, people like LeBron James who have been outspoken about the greatness of Diddy’s parties, traveling with Diddy.”
Owens didn’t stop there and attacked James’ status as “king”:
“This person is supposed to be the king. I’m waiting for ‘the king’ to come out and condemn this, condemn what we now know to be a reality.”
While James has yet to issue a statement, a source close to Bieber tells PEOPLE that the 30-year-old singer is focusing on himself and his family and does not wish to comment on Diddy.
With everything going on in Hollywood and the investigation into the accusations against Diddy ongoing, only time will tell how this all ends for the music mogul and everyone close to him.
