With this mounting evidence, Baker had no doubt that Poppy intentionally killed Tom. The interrogation grew more intense as Baker confronted her. Poppy tried to justify her actions, but it was to no avail. The truth was gradually being revealed, and now the question was whether Poppy could escape the law’s punishment.
