After finally figuring out a trade to get away from the Miami Heat, Jimmy Butler is making the most of his first few games as a Golden State Warrior. It hasn’t been the most efficient shooting run of his career, but he’s scored at least 20 points in each of his first three games as Stephen Curry’s sidekick, and he’s had nine rebounds and at least six assists in each of the past two, with an impressive four-steal performance mixed in.
However, there’s been a slight complication. The first is the fact that his third game with the team, played against a Dallas Mavericks squad that was without the services of either Anthony Davis or Luka Doncic, was the first loss since he came over from Miami. The other is just a bit more personal, to put it lightly.
Fans believe that he may have followed in the footsteps of another NBA great- Paul Pierce, to be exact- and soiled himself during the game. Check out the evidence below, if you dare.
Making assumptions is never a good thing to do, but it’s hard to know exactly what that might be if it’s not human bodily waste. That’s the best hypothesis floating around right now, and Butler hasn’t said anything to the contrary, which one might imagine that he might if he had an alibi of any sort.
However, it’s been a day and Butler hasn’t commented on the matter, so don’t expect any further updates- this story is probably going to disappear just as fast as it showed up on Butler’s shorts during the loss to Dallas. If he has anything to say about it, there won’t be another similar incident to comment upon anytime soon either.
