At the launch ceremony of the new project The Icon League, the former German player did not hesitate to express his admiration for Arda Guler, a young talent of Real Madrid.

Kroos shared: “His left foot is amazing. From the beginning, my teammates and I at Real realized this. What makes Arda Güler different is that he is very eager to learn. Nowadays, there are not many people like that. He really wants to learn and improve himself. His finishing ability is amazing. If he maintains good physical condition, his future will be very bright.”

Last season, despite not being given many opportunities to play, Guler always left his mark every time he was put on the field. The Turkish star played a total of 716 minutes in 17 appearances for Los Blancos and scored 6 goals.

Guler is considered a player with a skillful technical foundation, along with the ability to finish sharply with his “magical” left foot, and has repeatedly made goalkeepers play second fiddle to the masterpieces he has created.

This was clearly demonstrated when Guler played brilliantly at Euro 2024 and became a mainstay of the Turkish national team. In the opening match, the former Fenerbahce star made the whole world explode when he created a “rainbow” against the Georgian national team, thereby bringing home 3 points for the home team.

Not stopping there, the player dubbed “little Ozil” also contributed 2 more assists, helping the Turkish team advance to the quarterfinals and only lost to the Netherlands.
