Serious civil lawsuits have been filed against rapper Sean “Diddy” Combs, whose properties in Los Angeles and Miami were raided by federal agents on March 26. According to  NBC News  and the  AP , the raid is part of an investigation into alleged  sex trafficking . Added to this are accusations of  sexual abuse  and  rape  of his former partners. The 54-year-old artist denies any wrongdoing and has dismissed the lawsuits filed against him since November.

Prosecutors have not yet formally charged Combs, but his legal status could change at any time.

One of the most recent documents was filed by producer  Rodney “Lil Rod” Jones on February 26, 2024 in New York. According to the lawsuit, the rapper forced him to have relationships with sex workers he hired.

Jones, who worked for “Diddy” from September 2022 to November 2023, claimed that he had been  sexually harassed, drugged and threatened  for more than a year. As compensation for the events, the producer requested $30 million in the complaint.

In the court papers, which  were obtained by the New York Post , Prince Harry  ‘s name is mentioned once  , but he  is not listed as accused or directly involved  in any crime.

According to the plaintiff’s argument, guests were drawn to “Diddy’s” parties because of his boast about his access to important figures in all spheres. As an example, the document mentions Combs’ connection to such personalities as “ famous athletes, politicians, artists, musicians and even international dignitaries such as Prince Harry .”

The Duke of Sussex has yet to comment on his relationship with the controversial figure. Their last public encounter was in  2007 , when Harry and his brother William met “Diddy” at a party organised to thank those who participated in the charity event “Concert for Diana”, held at Wembley Stadium.

The allegations against  Sean Combs  date back to November 2023, when his ex-girlfriend,  Casandra Ventura , accused him of rape and physically abusing her in their relationship. The civil suit was settled within 24 hours, following a monetary settlement for an undisclosed sum. Ventura said she had chosen to close the matter “amicably,” while Combs’ attorney insisted this  did not imply an admission of wrongdoing by his client .

Shortly after, three other lawsuits were filed by different women for the same crime: rape. Despite all the lawsuits, the rapper denies having committed any crimes. In statements to  Forbes , his defense has described such allegations as attempts to “ get easy money ” or “ baseless ” accusations .

In a statement in December, the rapper said he would “ fight for his name, his family, and the truth .” Meanwhile, Douglas Wigdor, an attorney for two female accusers, said in a statement cited by  NBC News  that he hoped the raid and investigation would mark the start of a process that “ holds Mr. Combs accountable for his depraved conduct .”
