Ridge Refuses to Marry Brooke, Goes Back to Taylor Again – Bold and the Beautiful Spoilers

It seems like we’re never done talking about the ongoing love triangle between Ridge, Brooke, and Taylor in The Bold and the Beautiful, but here we are again. The drama continues, and it looks like the writers aren’t letting up anytime soon.

Ridge is once again stuck in a complicated situation, with Taylor returning to Los Angeles and dealing with a heartbreaking health diagnosis—literally, broken heart syndrome. This has shifted Ridge’s focus entirely, making it hard for him to concentrate on anything else.

Taylor, however, wants to keep this a secret, which is puzzling. While it’s understandable that she might not want anyone to gossip about her condition, it feels strange that she would want to hide something so serious. Months ago, Brooke was busy planning her wedding dress, and it seemed like Ridge and Brooke were finally going to make things official—for the hundredth time. But since then, the wedding plans have completely stalled. No date has been set, no invitations sent, and now with Taylor back in town, it’s becoming clear that Ridge might be dragging his feet for a reason.

Brooke is beginning to sense that something isn’t right. Before Taylor’s return, Ridge seemed all in on the idea of getting married. Now, however, his behavior has changed, and it doesn’t take a genius to see that something’s going on. Brooke, who knows Ridge all too well after all these years, is starting to put the pieces together. The moment Taylor came back, it was obvious where Ridge’s priorities would shift.

Then there’s Steffy, who has been a major player in this whole situation. She’s always believed her parents belong together and considers Brooke to be a problem. Steffy has been encouraging Ridge to keep Taylor close, especially as she battles her health crisis, and she’s determined to see her parents back together. She’ll push for this reconciliation as long as she can, no matter how much Brooke may stand in her way.

Brooke, on the other hand, is satisfied with her relationship with Ridge and the way things were going, but with Taylor back and Ridge acting distant, she’s getting suspicious. She knows something is wrong and deserves answers—especially since they were supposed to be planning their wedding. However, Ridge can’t reveal the truth about Taylor’s health without betraying her trust. If he continues to stall, Brooke might feel pushed away and could seek comfort elsewhere.

Enter Bill Spencer, who has always been a lingering presence in Brooke’s life. They’ve shared a complicated past, and recently, Brooke had a heart-to-heart with Bill that left her thinking about her future. If Ridge keeps avoiding Brooke’s questions, it wouldn’t be surprising if she turns to Bill for emotional support.

Ridge is caught in the middle. On one side, Taylor needs him more than ever as she faces a serious health issue. On the other side, Brooke is growing more frustrated with his distant behavior. Ridge knows that if he doesn’t act soon, he risks losing both women. If Brooke feels neglected for too long, Bill could swoop in and take her away. On the flip side, if Ridge chooses Brooke, Steffy may never forgive him for abandoning Taylor in her time of need.

It’s a lose-lose situation for Ridge, and he knows it.
