General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Lulu Spencer (Alexa Havans) has been in a coma for almost four years now, As longtime viewers know, Lulu was caught in an explosion at the Floating Rib.
While it was Julian Jerome (William DeVry) who left the bomb inside the restaurant, he was doing so under the orders of Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober). Julian has been told the bomb wouldn’t go off until after the restaurant had closed, but Cyrus had other ideas.
General Hospital Spoilers – Cyrus Renault Is Responsible For Lulu Spencer’s Coma
Cyrus decided to detonate the bomb while it was full of customers. One of whom was Lulu. Later on, it was revealed that Cyrus is the half-brother of Laura Collins (Genie Francis), making him Lulu’s uncle.
After holding Laura hostage, Cyrus finally went to prison. Martin Grey (Michael E Knight) was also revealed to be Cyrus’ brother and Laura’s half-brother. While Laura and Martin have bonded over the years, the situation with Cyrus is much more complicated.
GH Spoilers – Cyrus Renault Claims To Have Found Religion
While in prison, Cyrus has claimed to have found God. He even started a ministry within the prison. Eventually, he had a heart attack and was eventually deemed too frail to be in prison by the courts. Ever since, Cyrus has tried to make amends with Laura, with limited results.
Laura was also shocked to learn that Cyrus had been visiting Lulu at the long-term facility she had been cared for on a regular basis. Martin left town several months ago but has also recently returned.
General Hospital Spoilers – Lulu Spencer Is Dying!
As a result of her coma, Lulu’s liver is failing. She needs a transplant and her brother, Lucky Spencer (Jonathan Jackson) is a match so hopefully once the transplant occurs Lulu will wake up.
Cyrus has vowed to make sure that Lulu gets better although it’s unclear how he intends to do that. Martin will certainly run into Cyrus sooner or later and when he does, look for him to warn Cyrus to back away.
It’s his fault that Lulu is in the position she’s in and his presence can only make matters worse. But will Cyrus take his brother’s warning?
