In a explosive new interview, Mo’Nique has REVEALED that Tyler Perry is much worse than Sean “Diddy” Combs when it comes to mistreating black actresses in the entertainment industry. The Oscar-winning actress has been a vocal critic of Diddy’s alleged mistreatment of black women in the past, but in her latest interview, she claims that Perry’s behavior is far more egregious.
“I’ve worked with Tyler Perry before, and let me tell you, he is a master manipulator,” Mo’Nique said. “He uses his power and influence to control the careers of black actresses, and to push them out of the industry when they’re no longer useful to him. He’s a master at making women feel small and insignificant, and he’s used that power to get what he wants from them.”
Mo’Nique went on to describe the ways in which Perry allegedly mistreated her on the set of his film “The Single Moms Club”. She claimed that he would often make her feel belittled and disrespected, and that he would use his power to try to intimidate her into doing what he wanted.
“I remember one time, we were filming a scene and I didn’t like the direction it was going in,” Mo’Nique said. “I told Tyler that I didn’t want to do it, and he started yelling at me and telling me that I was being difficult. He made me feel like I was nothing, like I was just a piece of trash on the floor. It was a really tough moment for me, and it made me realize that I needed to get out of there as soon as possible.”
Mo’Nique also claimed that Perry has a history of mistreating black actresses, and that he has a reputation for being abusive and controlling on set. She encouraged other actresses to speak out about their own experiences with Perry, and to demand better treatment from him.
“I know that I’m not the only one who has had negative experiences with Tyler Perry,” Mo’Nique said. “I know that there are many other actresses who have been mistreated by him, and I want to encourage them to come forward and share their stories. We need to hold people like Tyler Perry accountable for their actions, and we need to demand better treatment from them.”
