Back at the beginning of August, GH released a casting call for a character named Lauren who sounded suspiciously like the much-missedĀ Lulu Spencer. And shortly after that news broke, the characterās previous portrayer, Emme Rylan,Ā confirmed that the soap was going to be recastingĀ and she would not be returning to the role she played from 2013 until 2020.Ā Daytime ConfidentialĀ first broke the casting news andĀ TV LineĀ confirmed it.
Havins will be familiar to ABC soap fans from her role asĀ All My Childrenās Babe Carey Chandler, which she played from 2003-07, returning for a special appearance in 2011 before the soap aired its final episode on ABC. In 2005, she received a Daytime Emmy Award nomination for Outstanding Younger Actress for her work on the soap.
