Shane Mosley found an opening and planned to attack it and almost knocked Floyd Mayweather out
Floyd was stunned by a Right Hand but Floyd successfully locked Shane Mosley to give himself time to recover
Despite being stunned, Floyd did a good job of hiding it by still charging straight at Shane Mosley and continuing to fight. This is a skill that all champions must have:
“Pain but not pain”
Floyd’s champion spirit was further tested when he was hit by another Right Hook that made Floyd’s legs wobble, unable to stand, but Floyd once again stood firm and refused to back down
Floyd showed the true character of a champion in this match
Every time Floyd was in danger, Floyd became the most dangerous version
So, after being nearly knocked down twice in the second round, Floyd punished Shane Mosley in the remaining 10 rounds with a Right Hand but sharper
There was a situation where Shane Mosley made a mistake when wrestling Floyd to the ropes, the ring reminded him and allowed the match to continue and also “Always protect yourself” after the referee allowed the match to continue.
End of fight – Floyd lost the first 2 rounds of the fight and was almost knocked down twice but FLoyd won the remaining 10 rounds of the fight
A convincing win for Floyd and worthy of the saying
“It’s not how hard you hit. It’s how hard you can take it and keep going”
