Cristiano Ronaldo’s split from Georgina Rodriguez is said to cost him £85,000 a month under a ‘lifetime allowance’ deal.
Ronaldo is thought to have a net worth of around $600m (£463m), with a lucrative contract at Saudi Pro League club Al Nassr earning him £173m ($224m) a year, adding to his income – along with numerous sponsorship deals.
According to Portuguese magazine TV GUIA , Ronaldo had an agreement with Georgina – the mother of two of CR7’s five children – that would see her receive £85,000 a month (VND2.75 billion) if they split, and that would be for life. Those terms were put in place after their daughter, Alana Martina, was born in November 2017.
Insiders also believe that Georgina will own the couple’s villa in Madrid – which Ronaldo bought in 2010 when he was playing for La Liga giants Real Madrid.
There is no sign that the couple will split anytime soon, with CR7 recently hinting that he did indeed want to marry his long-term girlfriend – although no public announcement has been made.
“When I’m not training at the club, I like to train with my wife at home. Because I can motivate her and vice versa,” Ronaldo said while promoting a fitness brand with which he is proud to have a commercial link.
The pair have enjoyed some time together this summer, with holidays before and after Euro 2024. The former Manchester United and Juventus star is now back at Al Nassr and looking ahead to the new 2024/25 season.
Recently, Ronaldo and his teammates suffered a bitter 1-4 defeat against Al Hilal in the Saudi Super Cup final. Despite the Portuguese striker scoring the opening goal, Al Nassr’s poor defense forced them to concede 4 consecutive goals in just 17 minutes of the second half.
