A traffic warden gave Marcus Rashford a yellow card after he had lunch with a Manchester United teammate.
The 26-year-old attacker is struggling to regain his best form this year after finishing as the team’s top scorer with a career-high 32 goals in all competitions the previous season.
He has only managed three goals for the Red Devils this season in all competitions, and it appears that his bad luck isn’t ending on the field.
Rashford met another United player Tyrell Malacia at the Juniper Restaurant in Wilmslow, Cheshire on Wednesday afternoon.
He failed to spot the England player’s £280,000 McLaren 765 Long Tail sports vehicle, which was parked outside the institution on double yellow lines.
After 15 minutes, a warden with sharp eyesight saw the star’s illegal play, though, and dutifully issued a £60 parking charge on the star’s 205 mph automobile.
And when Rashford got back outside to his car after around an hour, he was in for a nasty surprise.
In recent memory, he is not the first—and most likely not the last—Manchester United player to receive two yellow cards in a succession.
Man City manager Pep Guardiola had a lighthearted chat with a traffic warden after receiving a parking ticket in August.
When the Spaniard was hit by another one three months later, he was not laughing as much.
Furthermore, his players have committed parking blunders.
After spending a day in the city center earlier this year with his partner Ashleigh Behan, Kalvin Phillips, a teammate from England and his club, also noticed a ticket on his £270k Lamborghini.
