Victor Newman, is that really you? Some fans and critics out there couldn’t help but notice that The Young and the Restless star Eric Braeden seems to be changing his tune.
That’s mostly because he’s the kind of person who likes to say what he wants, when he wants, regardless of what anyone has to say about it. But it seems like he might have softened his tone a bit in one of his latest social media posts.
While there’s no doubt that Eric is the kind of guy who is always going to be vocal about his political opinions, he did have a special message for his fans on Sunday soon after Joe Biden announced that he was dropping out of the presidential race.
The actor began his post by saying, “Boy, am I waiting for things to cool down in the world of politics; we all are, I’m sure!”
“Let’s all vote to continue our democratic system and institutions! And let us remember we are still the strongest economy and military in the world, notwithstanding the BLATANT LIES AND BULLSH*T spread by you all know who!”
“It’s an old fashioned method by right wingers to scare voters into Armageddon, and only their chosen leader can fix things!! Right!”

“Into the largest deficit we have EVER HAD under TRUMP! He is the laughing stock of the world!! And now he doesn’t know about project 2025! Right!!!”
“It’s all his closest advisors who put it all together at the HERITAGE FOUNDATION and THE FEDERALIST Society! The latter suggested all the rightwing judges who overturned the right of a woman to choose, among others!”
Ok, maybe Eric Braeden didn’t totally soften his stance, but we sure all do get the point both loud and clear. Watch this space for more.
