During an interview, the actress talked about a wild experience that happened after the awards ceremony. After winning the Outstanding Supporting Actress category, she decided to take her Emmy back to her hotel for safekeeping. But in the process, she made a mistake, leading to drama. Courtney Hope’s Award-Winning Night Hits a Snag

The Young and the Restless actress had heard tales of other statuettes being stolen, so she wasn’t taking any risks. When Hope got back to the hotel, she ensured her award was secure. However, in doing so, she accidentally washed off the stamp that allowed her to re-enter the after awards party. To make matters worse, the soap diva even switched purses, leaving her without her entry ticket. Moreover, when she tried to get back in, the security guard who saw her leave was gone.

Sadly, the black light scanner couldn’t detect the washed-off stamp. Subsequently, Hope became hopeless that she might have to spend the rest of the night in her suite. However, she was desperate enough not to miss out on the celebrations that easily. So, the Sally Spectra actress decided to mention her recent Emmy win to the security guards. Courtney explained, “I didn’t mean to be pompous, but I literally won an Emmy tonight and was just in there.”

At first, her explanation didn’t help much, but then more people passed by, congratulating her on her win. Additionally, they commended her speech, and the guards began to reconsider. Eventually, after more congratulations from attendees, the security guards finally let the Y&R star back in. Hope recounted when two people walked out and said, ‘Congratulations. Your speech was amazing.’ “I turned to the security guards and said, ‘Come on guys, really?’ They both finally said, ‘Okay, fine. You can go in.’”

In retrospect, what seemed like a stressful situation has now become a funny memory for Courtney. As for what’s coming on the CBS drama, Sally will be dealing with Adam’s betrayal, and things will hit the ceiling.
