The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers update for Monday, July 1,

reveals that Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) will get caught up in

Hope Logan (Annika Noelle) and Steffy Forrester’s (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) latest round of conflict.

Steffy obviously thinks Thomas’ life has been so much better ever since he kicked Hope to the curb, so she’s hoping he’ll put his ex completely out of his mind.

Of course, Thomas can’t just hit delete on Hope since she’s Douglas Forrester’s (Henry Joseph Samiri) adoptive mom and will be forever connected to Thomas as a result.

Thomas might acknowledge that on Monday’s episode and try to get Steffy to dial down all the “Brooke 2.0” talk.

Steffy has been comparing Hope to Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang) and badmouthing them both, but Thomas may insist he’s not looking for trouble.

That said, Thomas may reiterate that he’s excited about his Paris Buckingham (Diamond White) engagement news and hope they can all find a way to get along.

At Deacon Sharpe’s (Sean Kanan) apartment, Poppy Nozawa (Romy Park) will continue her confrontation with Tom Starr (Clint Howard), who claims to be Luna Nozawa’s (Lisa Yamada) father.

Although Poppy may argue that a paternity test confirmed Bill Spencer (Don Diamont) is Luna’s bio dad instead, Tom may be skeptical of the results and threaten to spill too much.

Will Tom push for money if Poppy wants to keep her perfect little Spencer family intact?

Poppy will feel backed into a corner and could potentially take drastic action.

There’ll soon be questions about how far Poppy might go to get Tom out of the picture.

However, Tom has been on Sheila Sharpe’s (Kimberlin Brown) bad side as well, so she might be another suspect in the mystery that’s about to kick off.

Since a shocking demise is coming up on Tuesday’s episode, perhaps Monday’s cliffhanger will set that up.

Regardless, Tom is doomed and apparently won’t live long enough to complete that Il Giardino performance.

Based on our B&B predictions, Tom is about to face a grim fate, so we’ll pass along updates as more details about his outcome are revealed.
