General Hospital (GH) spoilers hint that Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) is set to exit the soap in the new year, which is only some weeks away.

While no exact date has been set for his departure, it’s easy to speculate that this could happen sooner rather than later.

So much is going on in Michael’s life right now, so it’s hard to say exactly how he’ll leave storylines; however, a major villainous return from the Tuesday, December 17 show could provide hints.

GH Spoilers: Jenz Sidwell Stalks Sasha Corbin

GH spoilers suggest that Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota) re-appeared at the end of Tuesday’s show, as Sasha Corbin (Sofia Mattsson) was praying out loud in the town’s church. Sasha was reflecting on Baby Liam, as it was the anniversary of her newborn’s passing.

She shared a nice moment with Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) and even got a visit from Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot). Tracy had lashed out once again on the young woman, earlier that day, but came to apologize.

What Sasha was not aware of was the fact that Sidwell was also in the church as she was praying for the safety of her unborn child.

It’s hard not to think that the villain is set to kidnap Sasha in an effort to lure Holly Sutton (Emma Samms) out of hiding. But instead of gaining one pawn in his revenge mission, he’ll now have two.

GH Spoilers: Will Michael Corinthos Get Involved?

Michael isn’t exactly the ‘save the day’ hero in these sorts of storylines, so it’s hard to imagine he’d go on a rescue effort if he found out Sasha went missing – even if he found out she was carrying his child!

Still, this is the land of soaps, where the impossible becomes possible, so is this storyline going to be the way Michael exits the canvas? He may have a face-off with Sidwell to save Sasha or simply get caught in the crossfire of it all if something erupts in a common area of Port Charles.

Then again, he may “tag along” if Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) or a crew of heroes goes on a rescue mission; especially if he knows Sasha is carrying his child.
