Matthijs de Ligt and Noussair Mazraoui are both represented by Rafaela Pimenta, who is trying to negotiate a move away from Bayern Munich for her clients. Journalist Fabrizio Romano suggests the two deals could be worth less than £59.8m.

Romano said: “Discussions continue from Bayern with the players, because they have the same agent; Rafaela Pimenta – who represents both Matthijs de Ligt and Noussair Mazraoui, both players expected to join Manchester United this summer.”
“With Bayern, there is no agreement yet because Bayern want €50m guaranteed for De Ligt and around €20m for Mazraoui. So a transfer package of €70m (£59.8m), but Man Utd want to pay less. So the discussions are still going on, but there is confidence that De Ligt is just waiting for Man Utd.”
Both players previously played under Erik ten Hag at Ajax at different times and would like to reunite with their former boss.
